after such a deliriously prolonged spell, i decided to drag my lazy bum out for a run. i realized only after midway through my 1st kilometre how unfit i was and what a faultless decision to revisit and conquer my usual running route through a nearby park along a huge canal. the crisp and fresh air, despite it was only 3 hours from dinner time filled my nostrils almost instantly and the rejuvenated my body filled with junk food - a consequence of the gargantuan feasting i embarked during this festive period which included my amazing 18th! the array of gobsmacking foods i shoveled down my poor stomach that is now paying for my thoughtless gluttonous ways instantly cringed with fear as i was determined to rid my body of the unhealthy mess it left behind.
“a moment on the lips, a lifetime on the hips.” a rather wise quote in my opinion which has been etched in my head and i think or rather i promise my body, at least for the next few weeks (before Chinese New Year which unfortunately is the feasting season again) i’d take care of you with a tried and tested diet i exercised through my high schools days and shall pair it will frequent runs and a embark on the simple yet effective exercise regime i posted a few months ago… (i gagged a little when i wrote that)
it’s time to get fit again!
